Reclaiming our streets
Project Reclaim is a youth-centered initiative designed to disrupt cycles of violence through culturally grounded healing, prevention, and intervention. Rooted in community wisdom and restorative justice, the program supports young people across East Scarborough who are navigating trauma, violence, and systemic barriers.

Our Community Peace Engagement Worker and Cross-Community Connections Worker build trusted relationships with youth ages 10–29 at highest risk of violence and gang involvement. These “violence interrupters” intervene before conflicts escalate — redirecting energy toward healing, accountability, and transformation.
