A point of contact for marginalized youth who need support
The Club’s Youth Outreach Workers (YOW) are the community’s resource contact point for marginalized youth (12-21 years) who have not been successfully engaged with school or community organizations. The YOWs mentor, guide, and connect youth with services by building relationships with them within their neighborhoods.
Youth Outreach Services – Our Goals
Build Trust & Restore Connection
Create safe, supportive relationships with youth by meeting them where they are — fostering trust, re-engaging them with school, family, and community, and helping rebuild a sense of belonging.
Foster Cultural Identity & Pride
Connect youth to meaningful programs that affirm identity, history, and self-worth.
Expand Access to Opportunities
Support youth in accessing mental health care, education, employment, housing, and other vital resources through personalized guidance and system navigation.
Empower Leadership & Agency
Uplift youth voices, nurture their strengths, and support them in developing skills to lead, advocate, and shape their futures with confidence and purpose.

The Boys & Girls Club (BGC) has been an incredible support in my life, and Cory has played a huge part in that journey. Through his guidance and encouragement, I’ve grown in ways I never thought possible. Cory has always been there to help me see my potential, pushing me to go after my dreams even when I doubted myself. Whether it was offering advice, listening when I needed someone to talk to, or just believing in me, Cory’s presence has been like a steady anchor. His support has inspired me to keep going, to work harder, and to believe in my ability to succeed. I truly don’t know where I’d be without his influence and the sense of family I’ve found at BGC with him.- Adam A
